📍 The descent takes place on the Dranse in Haute-Savoie, between Thonon-les-Bains and Évian-les-Bains. You meet at the Thonon base, then a minibus takes you to the start of the descent.
🚣 Each raft seats up to 7 or 8 people, steered by a state-certified guide.
🌊 The descent alternates rapids with calmer stretches and requires no previous experience. It suits every level depending on the format, and the guides adjust the trip to your group.
💪 It isn’t a particularly sporty activity, but it is demanding: you come out as if you’d spent an hour in the pool. You need to be able to swim.
🦺 Kit is provided on site: a full wetsuit (trousers and jacket), neoprene booties, life jacket, helmet and paddle. Bring swimwear and a towel.
🏆 As an option, the rafting challenge adds four events: a timed prologue, a jumping event, a line start and a spoons event.
